This 2 bedroom, fully self-contained cottage with balcony, is attached to (but completely divided from) an owner-built bluestone home on a 5-acre piece of paradise. The Otway National Park edges the property, creating a lovely atmosphere of seclusion and peace. Johanna Beach is close by, and beautiful in all seasons.
The space
The well-insulated interior space of Moonlight View cottage consists of two cosy bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, a toilet with handbasin, and a shower. Heating and cooling is taken care of with a very effective split-system aircon/heater in the living area. There are also double gazed windows throughout, helping to keep you cosy in the colder months and cool through the summer nights.
The light and sunny living room looks out onto a gorgeous view of Johanna Beach. There is a big comfy couch and another day-bed/couch (which can also be used as a single bed if needed). The main bedroom contains a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom contains a double bunk bed (double on bottom and single on top).
You will also have private access to a balcony and verandah, accessible via the sliding glass doors in the living room.
The property is solar powered (with grid back-up) and supplied with clean, filtered rainwater
